Ibrahim Abdul Hamed

Senior Social Worker/Manager

Ibra has been working at Jinja Connection since 2012. He is married and has 3 children. He has a diploma in Social Work with 17 years of work experience. His Goals for the future are to become a professor in Sociology and a child expert.

Mugagga Racheal

Teacher

Racheal has been working at Jinja Connection since 2012. She is married with 4 children. Her goal for the future is “I want to be the best teacher and role model to the children, in my character, actions and dress code”.

Atim Angella

Cook/Welfare

Angella has worked at Jinja Connection since 2012. She is a hard working single mother of 5 children. In the future, Angela would like to open up a catering service.

Ndenga Godfrey Newton

Teacher

Godfrey has been working at Jinja Connection since 2015 and is married with 3 children. He is a qualified Teacher and Social Worker with 10 years of experience. Godfrey’s goal for the future is “To become a provider of physical, social, emotional and intellectual therapy to all the children at Jinja Connection through a well-balanced educational and learning atmosphere”

Loyolo John Bosco

Part-Time Social Worker

John Bosco has been working at Jinja Connection since 2017 and he previously completed his placement for College with Jinja Connection. He is certified in Social Development and is currently working towards completing his diploma in Social Work. His goal for the future is to complete his diploma and become a full-time Social Worker.

Nampewo Moureen

Volunteer Social Worker

Moureen has been volunteering at Jinja Connection since 2016. She has a diploma in Counselling & Guidance. Her goals for the future are to become a full-time employee of Jinja Connection and ensure all children are off the streets.

Isabiyre Christopher

Guard

Christopher has worked at Jinja Connection since 2014. He is married with 9 children and has 47 years of work experience. His goal for the future is to build a house for his family.

Allison Edwards

Executive Director/Founder

Since 2012, Allison has functioned as the executive director responsible for overseeing daily activities and fundraising. Her goal is to continue to work alongside children on the street and their families to ensure they have access to opportunities for a positive future.
